3.0-Magnitude Aftershock Felt in American Canyon

It struck Thursday morning just before 4 a.m.

The U.S. Geological Survey this morning reported a 3.0-magnitude aftershock in American Canyon about seven miles south of Napa.

The aftershock was reported at 3:56 a.m. and had a depth of 6.8 miles, according to USGS.

The aftershock follows a 6.1-magnitude quake that struck Napa on August 24.
