3.2-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes New Year's Day Near Kenwood

The quake hit at 1:18 p.m., according to officials.

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck this afternoon near Kenwood in Sonoma County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 1:18 p.m. with a depth of 4.6 miles and was centered 4 miles southwest of Kenwood and 5 miles east-northeast of Rohnert Park, USGS officials said.
