The multi-vehicle collisions snarled traffic on state Highway 12.

NAPA, CA — Six people were injured in two multi-vehicle crashes that happened within an hour Tuesday in south Napa, the California Highway Patrol said.

The first incident was reported at 11:40 a.m. on state Highway 12 west of Kelly Road. Three cars were involved in the rollover crash that blocked SR-12.

The second crash was reported at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday and involved four cars on SR-12 at state Highway 29.

According to the CHP, the Nissan driver was traveling at an unsafe speed and failed to stop.
