AMERICAN CANYON, CA — The city of American Canyon on Monday welcomed Lincoln Bogard, an experienced finance professional and public servant, as the city's new finance director.

"Despite these challenging times, American Canyon continues to be a magnet for rising stars in local government," American Canyon City Manager Jason Holley said. "Lincoln has an impressive set of skills and a strong educational background, but most importantly, he is a dedicated public servant with years of experience in local government finance. He is a welcome addition to our team, and I look forward to his leadership in our Finance Department."

Bogard most recently served as a senior accounting manager and deputy auditor-controller for Sacramento County, where he led multiple teams in the Finance Department and managed the preparation of key financial documents, including the county’s annual comprehensive financial report.
