NAPA VALLEY, CA — A woman suspected in a series of Napa storage unit burglaries worth thousands of dollars was arrested Tuesday at another nearby storage facility.
The investigation began in late June after the Napa County Sheriff's Office received reports of burglaries at the Storage Star facility on Devlin Road in Napa.
Victims reported losing property estimated by the sheriff's office to be worth thousands of dollars, including collectibles.
Detectives identified a suspect vehicle using surveillance cameras and Flock camera technology, leading investigators to 50-year-old Vallejo resident Kimberly Barrios, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities used the data to track Barrios to a storage unit in south Vallejo, where she was arrested.
While executing a search warrant at the unit, detectives found property suspected to have been from the Napa Storage Star.
She was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property. Her bail was set at $25,000, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives are continuing to identify the burglary victims and return the recovered property to them.
Anyone with information about the burglaries should contact Napa County Sheriff's Office Detective Christian Winegar at 707-253-6031 or .
