NAPA VALLEY, CA —An electrical hazard prompted a response from Napa County Fire and CAL FIRE's LNU East units on Knoxville Road .
Emergency dispatchers reported the incident at about 10:04 a.m.
Officials have not yet released the precise location or the cause of the hazard.
Knoxville Road winds through a remote, rugged portion of eastern Napa County near Lake Berryessa and serves residents, recreation areas, ranches, and agricultural properties.
Fire agencies routinely treat electrical hazards in the area as high-priority incidents because damaged electrical equipment can quickly ignite vegetation during fire season.
However, authorities have not reported a vegetation or structure fire associated with the incident, and no information was immediately available regarding injuries, evacuations, road closures, or power outages.
