NAPA VALLEY, CA — Drivers traveling along SR 29 will see more traffic enforcement as officers respond to community concerns about an increase in traffic violations and the risk of crashes along the highway and its intersections.
American Canyon police said they will focus enforcement on red-light violations, vehicles blocking intersections, and drivers using handheld cellphones while behind the wheel.
The effort aims to improve safety, reduce dangerous driving, and discourage behaviors that can contribute to traffic collisions.
