NAPA VALLEY, CA — Napa police arrested three people Sunday suspected of trying to steal more than $1,000 worth of Legos from a Target store, leading officers on a search for a getaway vehicle that tried to flee the area.
Officers responded to the Target store after receiving a report that two adults appeared to be stealing Legos.
In the parking lot, police found one suspect who tried to pull away from officers, leading them on a foot chase. Meanwhile, a vehicle carrying the second suspect fled the area, according to the Napa Police Department.
Napa County sheriff's deputies caught up with the vehicle a short time later.
Police ultimately arrested three people in connection with the theft and returned the stolen Legos to Target.
