3. Napa council delays Five-Way project amid concerns over resident's home (napavalleyregister.com) — Napa's city council has delayed certifying the environmental report for the long-planned Five-Way Intersection roundabout project, after widespread public concern that the current design would demolish 83-year-old resident Charlie Rossi's longtime Silverado Trail home. Instead, councilmembers ordered staff to meet directly with Rossi and his family before revisiting the project, even as officials warn that prolonged delays could threaten state funding and push construction further back.
4. Update: Steele Fire in Napa County remains 100% contained as of Tuesday morning (sacbee.com) — Fire crews have fully contained the Steele Fire in Napa County, which burned 51 acres after starting near Steele Canyon Road on Sept. 9.
