Michelin describes the Key award as the hotel equivalent of the Michelin Star and uses the designation to recognize properties that deliver exceptional experiences.
North Block blends contemporary design with a relaxed, residential atmosphere in the heart of Yountville, according to the Michelin Guide's 2026 hotel selection.
Guest rooms include private patios or balconies, and the property offers a year-round heated pool and hot tub, an intimate spa, a fitness studio, complimentary bikes, and a central courtyard with fire features.
The hotel's location puts guests within walking distance of Yountville restaurants, tasting rooms, bakeries, shops, and other destinations.
North Block Restaurant operates at the hotel under Chef Antonio Natal, who combines seasonal ingredients, Napa Valley influences, and Latin-Italian inspiration.
The restaurant serves handmade pastas, sourdough pizzas, live-fire dishes, approachable wines, and creative cocktails in an indoor-outdoor setting.
Guests also receive a rotating welcome cocktail, daily French press coffee, evening whiskey and bourbon nightcaps, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at check-in.
The latest recognition continues North Block's three-year Michelin run and highlights its focus on neighborly hospitality, distinctive design, and a connection to Napa Valley.

Inspectors awarded Three Keys to 155 hotels, Two Keys to 657 hotels, and One Key to 2,020 hotels.
