Applicants Sought for Napa County Mental Health Board

Deadline for applications is Jan. 30, and applicants need not have any specialized or professional background.

From the County of Napa:

The County Executive Officer announces one (1) vacancy representing “Family Member of Consumer” on the Napa County Mental Health Board with the term beginning immediately and expires Jan. 1, 2018.

The Mental Health Board meets at 4 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Health & Human Services, Building F, 2344 Old Sonoma Rd., Napa.

Anyone interested in consideration for appointment must submit a completed application form and apply either through the above listed coordinating agency/organization or directly to the Napa County Executive Office, temporarily located at 2741 Napa Valley Corporate Dr., Bldg 2, Napa, no later than 5 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2015.

To submit an application online, click “application for appointment” and follow the application instructions.

The fifteen-member Mental Health Board represents the categories of consumers, family members of consumers, interested and concerned citizens and a member of the Board of Supervisors.

Applicants need not have any specialized or professional background, although no member of the Board or his or her spouse shall be a full-time or part-time employee of a county mental health service, an employee of the State Department of Health Care Services, or an employee, or a paid member of the governing body of a Bronzan-McCorquodale contract agency.
