ATTENTION !!!!

With the new Saber Metrix influence on pro and collegiate sports, we are sure that someone will come up with  stats  that show a HUGE rise in upset victories.  That is, victories by underdogs in games that are daily exclusives.  Monday Night Football,  Thursday Night Football, and the many college games that are primetime exclusive.                              Present day narcissism, and folks seeking their fame, may be producing a new form of athletic adrenaline rush.  Being huge sports buffs, we have asked around, and anecdotally, hands down there is an increase in the  "dogs " finding a way to pull out a victory.  Especially in college basketball games, where storming the court has taken on a life of it's own.          There has always been effective incentives to perform outside of one's usual level of performance.   Growing up in Maryland, we were compelled to let it all hang out, because sometimes, in brisk fall or winter days, we were forced to play five on five basketball on asphalt.  Naturally, the colder the weather, the better we played, because waiting on the sidelines, for  " NEXT ", was not something to look forward to.  There was a saying back then: " No Autopsy, No Foul !!!!!!                                               To sum it up, we are waiting for the results of the number crunching regarding underdogs going from worst, to first.   HRM
