Bel Canto Annual Holiday Concert

Napa Valley’s premier vocal chamber ensemble, Bel Canto, will be performing its 2nd annual holiday concert, Let There Be Light, Friday, December 9, at 7:30 pm, at Napa Methodist Church, 625 Randolph Street, Napa, CA; and Sunday, December 11, at 4:00 pm, at St. Helena Catholic Church, 1340 Tainter Street, St. Helena, CA. Bel Canto, under the artistic direction of Ted von Pohle, is made up of some of Napa Valley’s finest singers, and specializes in diverse a cappella repertoire spanning the Renaissance to Contemporary vocal jazz. Let There Be Light will feature both traditional and non-traditional settings of holiday-themed pieces by composers such as Gabrielli, Lauridson, and Poulenc, as well as carols from around the world. Following Bel Canto’s debut last December, concert goers raved, “Wow!
