Bicyclist Killed Riding Near North Bay Trail
The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries after being ejected from their bike.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — A bicyclist in Napa County died Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle.
The bicyclist was riding eastbound at about 6:35 a.m. on Dunaweal Lane, west of Silverado Trail, when a Ford Mustang that was also driving eastbound struck the biker, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CPH's Napa Office said in a statement that a preliminary investigation indicated the bicyclist crossed into the Mustang's lane.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
