Bomb Threat At American Canyon High School: ACPD

Authorities are still investigating a bomb threat found at a school.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — A message threatening to bomb American Canyon High School was found scrawled in a student bathroom, prompting a full campus search and increased law enforcement presence, police said.

The note, which read, “I’m finna bomb TS school on Friday, FR,” was reported to the American Canyon Police Department on Wednesday. American Canyon Police said on social media that the wording was interpreted as a potential threat, though it is unclear when the message was written.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office explosives team conducted a thorough campus sweep with assistance from explosive detection canines from Napa and Solano counties. The investigation remains active as police assess the credibility of the threat.
