BottleRock Day 1 Proves Rocking Success

Attendees were feeling the LOVE at BottleRock Napa Valley 2015 with less lines, a festive atmosphere and great music making the first day a big success. Crowds were happy with the new and improved Napa Expo fairgrounds and lots of food and beverage vendors.

There were music lovers of all types, including families and children enjoying ample places to sit and eat or just kick back for a day with friends. Even the bands were feeling the love performing at BottleRock- now in its third year.

Several drones flew above the crowd for the night show of Imagine Dragons, and those fans enjoying Michael Franti & Spearhead over on the other main stage were filmed for his upcoming music video.

With the expanding grounds, grass areas both real and fake, there was plenty of room ... unless you were up front at the stage.

For those attending, be prepared to walk a long way to the $35-a-day parking lots along Soscol Avenue, or take advantage of shuttle buses. There are still single-day tickets for today and Sunday. If you are staying late, bring a blanket or jacket because it does get cold later in the day.

And for transportation on VINE:

All VINE bus routes will be free Saturday and Sunday of the festival for BottleRock pass holders.

The VINE Routes 8, 10 and 11 will run extended hours until after the close of the event.

Saturday, May 30 - The last Route 8, 10 and 11 buses will leave the Transit Center at midnight.

On Sunday, May 31 - The last Route 8, 10 and 11 buses will depart at 10:15 PM

Pass holders must show their pass to the driver upon boarding.
