Celebrate America’s musical heritage with Sing Napa Valley at the American Songbook Singer Showcase. Presented in honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, this lively afternoon concert travels from the 1920s through the early 1960s with jazz standards, Broadway favorites, and memorable songs from film. Two concerts: Saturday, October 24 & Sunday, October 25 at 3pm.
Whether these classics are lifelong favorites or brand-new discoveries, American Songbook Singer Showcase promises an uplifting celebration of music’s power to bridge generations and bring people together.
Enjoy timeless music by George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, and Irving Berlin, including favorites such as “Mr. Sandman,” “Honeysuckle Rose,” “Night and Day,” and “Dream a Little Dream of Me.” Sing Napa Valley choir members and special guests will take the spotlight in solos, duets, trios, and small ensembles, joined by collaborative pianist Anthony Mayor. Bring family and friends for an uplifting celebration of music that connects generations.
