Photographer Charlie Ginsburgh to present at the Napa Valley Photographic Society October Meeting

Please join fellow photography enthusiasts for Charlie Ginsburgh’s presentation on what makes a good photography image.
Charlie Ginsburgh has been involved in photography since 2011. In reflecting on his personal photographic style, Charlie states, “I find that I am attracted to the idea of ‘making the commonplace, uncommon’ in the world around me and especially in nature. I can be in a group of people overlooking a truly magnificent panoramic vista, and darn if I am not most interested in the little weedy flower-thing nearly buried in the dust at my feet.”
Charlie has been involved in offering image commentary for the last seven years, offering commentary to over 250 SF Bay Area camera club and PSA affiliated clubs events.
He is currently both a Northern California Council of Camera Clubs (N4C) and Photographic Society of America (PSA) Photography judge and has participated in photographic competitions domestically throughout the Chicago / San Francisco Bay areas and internationally for PSA. Charlie has also been a speaker at the last four N4C Fotoclave conferences. He has also provided programs for local camera clubs on Action Photography, Macro Photography, Flower Photography, and Compositing / Photoshop editing. Charlie is currently the N4C Judges Chair, a past President of the Peninsula Camera Club in San Mateo, CA, and is an N4C Fellow. Charlie will critique member-submitted photos after his presentation.
Examples of his photography are provided on his web site (https://charlie-g.smugmug.com) and he can be reached via E-mail at cginsburgh@gmail.com
