Calistoga Residents: Spoiled Food Pickups By UVDS

As a result of the sustained power outage in parts of Calistoga last week, UVDS will accept packaged and unpackaged spoiled food.

CALISTOGA, CA — In the wake of last week's PG&E public safety power shutoff, the city of Calistoga wants residents to know that Upper Valley Disposal Systems is accepting spoiled food in green cans for curbside pickup.

"As a result of the sustained power outage in parts of Calistoga last week, UVDS will accept packaged and unpackaged spoiled food this week only in the green can," city officials said. "If you are placing spoiled food in your green can this week, and this week only, please call UVDS at (707-963-7988) to inform them of your address for this special handling."
