Camp Fire Smoke Fills North Bay Skies: PHOTOS

Smoke from the fast-moving blaze in Butte County blows into the region on Thursday.

NORTH BAY, CA – Area fire and police agencies reported that the smoke drifting over Napa and Sonoma counties today is from the fast-moving Camp Fire in Butte county and "abnormally high winds."

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said that there are no major fires in the region.

The smoke, however, may cause air-quality concerns, and residents should take precautions if needed, the Napa Police Department said, adding that anyone who spots local fire or smoke from a vegetation fire should call 911.
