Congrats to Scott Rossmiller! Napa Business Owner Earns International Award, Recognition

Mr. Rooter® Franchisee Walks Away with Distinguished Award at Conference.

Scott Rossmiller, owner of Mr. Rooter® of Napa/Marin Counties, recently received the Top Gun award from the Mr. Rooter corporate office during the company’s 2014 International Convention in Orlando, Florida in September.

This award goes to franchise owners who achieve sales goals and reach operation benchmarks. The Top Gun recipients represent the top 10 percent of Mr. Rooter Plumbing owners across North America.

“The idea of ‘Top Gun’ was established by the Navy in the 1960’s as a way to give training and credit to elite fighter pilots,” said Mary Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter. “Taking a page from the Naval Top Gun program, each year we recognize our franchise leaders for their accomplishments and dedication to the trade. It takes perseverance, hard work, expertise and commitment to reach the Top Gun goal and we are honored to have Scott on our team.”

The Top Gun designation was inspired by the 1980’s movie of the same moniker. Don Dwyer, the late founder of Mr. Rooter Plumbing’s parent company, The Dwyer Group®, initiated the concept. He felt the top franchise owners, who went the extra mile and did what it took to be exemplary, deserved recognition.

“We are humbled and honored to receive this award,” remarked Rossmiller. “We have an outstanding team of professionals who work hard everyday. We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without their help.”
