Connolly Ranch Hosts Free Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, November 7

Connolly Ranch Education Center hosts its annual Harvest Festival at the Ranch on Saturday, November 7 from 11 am to 3 pm, rain or shine.

Guests are invited to spend a special day with family and friends at the 12-acre farm. Meet the Connolly Ranch farm animals, visit and tour the gardens, take a hike on the woodland trail, participate in a variety of activities or just relax, pull up a straw bale and have a picnic in the grove.

A variety of activities include apple pressing, corn grinding, oak tree planting, bird watching, community canvas painting, animal visits, spinning and weaving demos, live art, garden projects, yoga in the grove, a raffle and more!

Community partners include Ag in the Classroom, Carolyn Parr Nature Center, Friends of the Napa River, Land Trust of Napa County, Napa County Library, Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, Napa County Resource Conservation District, Napa-Solano Audubon Society, Napa Valley Art Assoc., Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention – Healthy Cooking with Kids, Inc., Silverado Handweavers and Spinners, UC Master Gardeners of Napa County, Yoga Passion, and more, plus live music by the Howell Mountain Boys.

Food, beer, wine and water will be available for sale from Crossroad Chicken, Phat Salads and Wraps and Lagunitas Brewing. Admission is free but registration is encouraged.

Connolly Ranch’s mission is to connect kids and families with nature through farm-based education, taking the lead on ensuring future generations’ dedication to the outdoors.
