County Asks Napans To Take Brief Online Survey

Posted in English and in Spanish, the survey seeks opinions on reducing the loss of life, property damage and injury from natural disasters.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — From wildfires to earthquakes to floods to severe storms, Napans unfortunately are all too familiar with the impacts natural disasters can have on a community. In updating the Napa County Operational Area Hazard Mitigation Plan, the Napa County Office of Emergency Services on Friday asked residents, business owners and community members to take a brief online survey.

By participating in the survey, community members can voice their opinion on long-term actions that can be taken to reduce injury, loss of life and property damage brought on by natural disasters.

The county is actively working on a 2019 update to its Operational Area Hazard Mitigation Plan, and will take the community's responses to the survey into consideration when determining what types of mitigation measures should be implemented by the county, its cities and its towns.
