Crash Shuts Down Silverado Trail, Both Directions: CHP Napa
CHP closed down a section of Silverado Trail Wednesday for several hours after a collision.
NAPA VALLEY, CA — The Silverado Trail closed in both directions between Oak Knoll and Yountville Cross Road due to traffic collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Motorists were forced onto alternate routes for several hours after authorities closed the roadway at about 3 p.m.
CAL FIRE Napa was also called to the scene of the two car traffic collision on Silverado Trail just south of Yountville Cross Road in Napa.

The crash involved an overturned dump truck carrying asphalt, closing roads while crews worked to secure the area.
Paramedics transported one patient to a local hospital.

The earliest estimate for reopening was originally 5 p.m. CHP and the Napa County Sheriff announced the roadway open just before 6 p.m.
