Emergency Evacuation Drill To Take Place In St. Helena
There may be traffic delays as Vineyard Valley Mobile Home Park residents practice evacuating in their cars, police said.
ST. HELENA, CA — The St. Helena Police and Fire departments in conjunction with the management of Vineyard Valley Mobile Home Park are holding a practice emergency evacuation Tuesday night.
The practice drill starts at 7 p.m. and should last about one hour. It will consist of patrol cars using "high-lo" evacuation sirens as uniformed police and fire personnel go door to door simulating what would occur in an actual emergency situation such as a fire, flood or earthquake.
Participating residents of Vineyard Valley Mobile Home Park will practice leaving the park in their cars and driving to the Vintage Hall parking lot at 465 Main St.
