Did you know the local Wine Industry Network employee education fund has been working to win the future locally since 1993? The North Bay wine industry bowling tournament was created by Riccardo Gaudino and Margrit Biever Mondavi, We Love Napa Valley Volunteers to champion the goodwill of fellowship and learning opportunities for employees. The first tournament was founded to commemorate the "immigrant" American Dream on the 100th Anniversary of Antonio Rossi in Napa Valley from Genova Italy. "It's bowling not bocce?"

Robert Mondavi Winery won the first tournament, and then the next year Beringer emerged the champion followed by Sutter Home. From this rivalry, it is all now a great tradition of FUN! and goodwill fellowship as one of the largest wine industry gatherings.
What the secret to its success?
1) Girls just wants to rock-a-bowl, drink beer and shake.
