E-Waste Recycling "Anything with a Cord"

The City of Napa partners with Napa Recycling & Waste Services (NRWS) and Napa Valley College for a recycling event for electronic waste from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11 at the Napa Valley College parking lot next to the soccer field.

This annual event offers the opportunity to recycle “Anything with a Cord,” including electronics such as computer equipment, televisions and cell phones; metal appliances like washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens and waterheaters; and smaller kitchen and household appliances such as vacuums, blenders, microwaves and table fans. All e-waste and appliances are accepted in any amount free of charge.

While this event offers a convenient opportunity to drop off anything with a cord, the City of Napa’s Recycling and Composting Facility accepts e-waste and appliances free year round at its facility located at 820 Levitin Way, off Highway 29 and Tower Road in American Canyon. The facility is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. More information on City of Napa recycling topics can be found at www.cityofnapa.org/recycle and NRWS program information is available at www.naparecycling.com.
