RASgalleries Art Glass invites the public to meet Jack Storms: Master of Cold Glass on Friday, July 13, 6pm-8pm and Saturday, July 14 2pm-4pm. Jack Storms is the master of an art form few dare even to attempt. Using an intense cold-glass process, Storms spends up to 10 weeks on each glass sculpture, creating a core of lead crystal & dichroic glass which is cut,polished and laminated creating reflective mirrors. When wrapped in optical glass, the refraction of light as it passes through the glass creates rainbows of hypnotic color.
