Saturday, April 30th is the day before National Bike Month and so we thought it would be the perfect day to get together for the annual membership meeting. We promise to keep the meeting part really short and plan to include a few worthwhile things:
- Announce the Bicycle Commuter of the Year Award
- Have the drawing for the Breezer commuter bike and some special wines for those who have renewed their memberships
- Introduce the members of the Napa Bike Board.
- After the meeting, we will set off on our first quarterly ride-with-the-board. It will be a very casual tour to check out the recent improvements to Stanly Lane and to see a bit of the Carneros region that starts just outside of Napa. The riding will be slow and relaxed, and will total no more than 15 miles.
So here's the scoop:
Where: the new 'parklet' overlooking Napa Creek just behind the Opera House on Main Street in Napa and almost directly across First Street from The Bounty Hunter at 975 1st Street
When: Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm
Who: Every member of Napa Bike. Family members are welcome.
