CIA Students, Faculty and Staff Invite you to a
Feast of Japanese Cuisine and Wines of the Napa Valley to benefitting:
The American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund
In November, 2010, the CIA’s renowned Worlds of Flavor® Conference brought in over 50 of Japan’s most venerated chefs and food experts for JAPAN: Flavors of Culture, the most comprehensive conference on Japanese cuisine and culture ever presented in the United States. Our students, staff and faculty made many, many friends with this community and it is this shared love of Japanese cuisine and culture that has inspired us to do what we do best at the CIA: create great tasting food in a spirit of giving.
Join us for what promises to be an outpouring of many of our favorite foods from JAPAN: Flavors of Culture in a walk-around dinner: sushi extravaganza, noodle bar comfort foods, yakitori (grilled skewers) hot from the grill, okonomoyaki (savory pancakes), and much more.

Special guest chefs, including Ken Tominaga (chef-owner of Hana Japanese Restaurant, Rohnert Park and sushi chef/co-owner of Go Fish Restaurant, St. Helena) and Nori Kusakabe, (Executive Chef at Sushi Ran in Sausalito) will bring their own Japanese specialties to the table.
And, of course, our always generous winery neighbors in the Napa Valley are donating wines for both pouring and a student-run silent auction.
