Experience the enchantment of spring time in the Napa Valley. Learn about the beautiful wildflowers that grace our landscape during a leisure 2.9 round-trip walk up to the Veterans Peak located on the grounds of the Veterans Home. We will enjoy the beauty of Paint Brush, Lupine, Milkmaid and our State flower, the California poppy. Bring your camera to capture the movement of woodpeckers, scrub jays, turkey vultures and the occasional red-tail hawk. Birds and bees abound, so be sure to bring hats, sunscreen and water! We will meet at the Napa Valley Museum at 10:00am sharp to begin the journey.
