Facebook to Teach Napa Valley Small Business Owners How to Use Social Media Giant

Friday, August 1, Facebook’s Small Business Boost will teach small business owners in the Napa area how to optimize their presences on the world’s largest social network. The Napa Chamber of Commerce will co-host the event and Congressman Mike Thompson (D-CA) will make opening remarks and speak with attendees.

“Social media is an excellent tool that small businesses can use to reach new customers and sell their products in new ways,” Congressman Mike Thompson said. “That’s why this Facebook workshop is so important. Small business will learn how to put themselves in front of people who are interested in their products, which will help them grow and create new jobs. Many thanks to Facebook’s experts who are giving their time to help our community’s businesses take advantage of this amazing tool.”

Attendees will also hear tips, tricks and advice from local small businesspeople that have found success using Facebook. Those small businesses are: Amazing Fairytale Parties, The Napa Valley Wine Train, Simraceway Performance Driving Center, and Green Music Center.
