Former 'Two-Buck Chuck' Winery To Be Auctioned
The vineyard was originally home to a winery started by Charles Shaw, a name today most famous for Trader Joe's "Two-Buck Chuck."
ST. HELENA, CA — A Bay Area vineyard with a connection to an iconic bargain brand will be sold at auction next month, according to reports.
Bidding on Benessere Vineyards in St. Helena will run May 13-28, with bids expected to start as low as $8 million, Realtor.com reported.
That’s far less than the $35 million the 43-acre estate was listed for in November 2024, according to the publication, which noted the property has had no serious offers despite the price dropping to $28 million.
