Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love is a delightful comedy about the course of true love made smooth by a “magic” potion. This charming production is set in Napa Valley circa 1915. Created from San Francisco Opera’s The Elixir of Love for Families in 2008, this one hour movie is a perfect way for children to learn about the magic of opera. The performance is in English, with English subtitles and is recommended for ages 4 and up.
