Frost Advisory Issued For Napa, North Bay Valleys
With temperatures forecast to be at or near freezing, the weather service advised protecting plants, pets and people sensitive to the cold.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for the North Bay interior valleys, including Napa Valley, from midnight to 9 a.m. Thursday.
Temperatures from 30 to 35 degrees mainly in the North Bay Valleys will result in frost formation early Thursday morning, forecasters said.
A low of 35 is forecast overnight in Napa.

"Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered," the National Weather Service said. "Populations sensitive to cold temperatures such as the elderly should take proper precautions, including please do not leave pets outdoors overnight in cold temperatures."
North Bay residents can expect near-freezing to slightly sub-freezing temperatures for at least a couple of hours to as much as several hours especially from near midnight tonight to just after sunrise, the weather service said.
