Glass Fire Declared 100% Contained
With the North Bay under a red flag warning, Cal Fire has crews on active patrol to mitigate hot spots and respond to service needs.

NORTH BAY, CA — The Glass Fire was declared 100 percent contained as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, Cal Fire announced, although crews will continue to work on hot spots and suppression repair for the next couple of weeks.
"As we are under a Red Flag Warning there will be crews performing active patrols in the area to mitigate hot spots and respond to service needs as they come up," Cal Fire Spokesman Tyree Zander said.
The red flag warning, which means critical fire weather conditions, went into effect at 11 p.m. Monday for the North Bay mountains — specifically the mountains of Napa County and northeast Sonoma County — and continues until 8 a.m. Wednesday.
