Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK
Where/When: New Tech High Cyber Cafe, 920 Yount Street, Wednesday, 6pm-8pm.
Why Go: Have a budding poet in the family? Don’t miss these high school finalists perform. One of these talented poets will go one to represent the county at the state finals in Sacramento!
Pricing: Free, but please contact Arts Council Napa Valley to RSVP at (707) 257-2117.
Where/When: Napa Valley Opera House, 1030 Main Street, Sunday 4pm.
Why Go: You be the judge. Nah, not really, just sit back and enjoy the show!
Pricing: $10 students, $15 general.
• CUPCAKES
Where/When: Sift Cupcakes & Dessert Bar, 3816 Bel Aire Plaza, open daily.
Why Go: Cupcakes are always in season, besides this place won the Food Networks "Cupcake Wars." Aren't you curious?
Pricing: $3 each, $30 a dozen.
Where/When: American Canyon Wetland Area, Saturday/Sunday 11am and 1pm.
Why Go: The kiddos will love checking out the ducks, songbirds and raptors on this walk. Volunteers from the Napa-Solano Audobon Society will be on hand to help you figure out who’s who. Don’t forget the binoculars!
Pricing: Free.
Where/When: Napa Valley Museum, 55 Presidents Circle, Yountville, Sunday 2pm-4pm.
Why Go: kids love making something from nothing, or in this case Valentines from recycled magazines and photos brought from home. Pass the scissors.
Pricing: $10, $5 for members. Space is limited; call 944-0500 to reserve a seat.
