Hail Falls In St. Helena, Parts Of Napa County: Photos
The National Weather Service issued special weather statements Tuesday afternoon as a hail-producing storm moved through the North Bay.
NORTH BAY, CA — For the second time in as many days, the National Weather Service warned of pea-sized hail falling Tuesday afternoon in parts of the North Bay as part of a storm also bringing some rain, wind and isolated thunderstorms.
The weather service issued "special weather statements" about the inclement weather that was mainly focused in parts of Napa and Sonoma counties and was expected to last until at least 4:45 p.m.
Areas that could be affected include Sonoma Valley, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Forestville, St. Helena, Napa, Yountville, Silverado Resort, Calistoga, Angwin and Rutherford, the weather service said.

A social media user on Twitter shared photos of the hail on the football field at St. Helena High School.
Hail was reported Monday in parts of Sonoma County, including Santa Rosa.
