Head-On Crash Shuts Down Highway 29

CHP closed down State Highway 29 Wednesday after a head-on crash.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — State Highway 29 in Yountville has reopened after closing earlier Wednesday morning because of a head-on crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at about 9:15 a.m. on Highway 29 at Washington Road.

The CHP advised motorists to avoid the area and to use Silverado Trail as an alternate route during the emergency response to the crash. The roadway reopened as of shortly before 11 a.m.
