Heads Up: Napa State Hospital To Test Alarm Sirens Next Week

The horns are used in the event of an armed intruder.

NAPA COUNTY, CA – Napa State Hospital will test its two emergency air horns on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m., the Department of State Hospitals-Napa said today.

The horns are used to warn hospital staff and tenants in the event of an armed intruder.

The test will produce three sequences of audible horn blasts and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, officials said.
