Here Are Napa County's 48-Hour Rainfall Totals

NAPA COUNTY, CA — The numbers are in and they don't seem to lie. According to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area's 48-hour rainfall totals from the latest winter storm to move through the region, Capell Creek at Lake Berryessa got the most precipitation in Napa County, with more than 6 inches recorded.

Elsewhere in the county, more than 5 inches of rainfall was measured in Angwin and on Atlas Peak Road, while more than 4 inches of rain was recorded at multiple locations.

Here is how much rain fell at various Napa County locations from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15-17 as published by the National Weather Service:

• 3 MILES WSW YOUNTVILLE: 4.65 IN
• NAPA JUSTIN-SIENA HS: 4.43 IN
• ATLAS PEAK: 4.43 IN
• 3 MILES S YOUNTVILLE: 4.29 IN
• 1 MILE NNW YOUNTVILLE: 4.26 IN
• 5 MILES NE GLEN ELLEN: 4.21 IN
• CONN DAM: 4.10 IN
• CONN DAM SPILLWAY: 4.02 IN
• 1 MILE SW SAINT HELENA: 3.90 IN
• NAPA RIVER AT DUNAWEAL LANE: 3.75 IN
• CALISTOGA 0.4 SSE: 3.69 IN
• 3 MILES W SAINT HELENA: 3.68 IN
• SULPHUR CREEK AT POPE STREET: 3.66 IN
• NAPA CORP YARD: 2.60 IN
• NAPA RIVER @ LINCOLN BRIDGE: 2.44 IN
• 6 MILES ENE NAPA: 2.29 IN
• 9 MILES NNE ANGWIN: 2.26 IN
• 5 MILES NE NAPA: 2.20 IN
• NAPA COUNTY AIRPORT : 2.12 IN

According to the NWS, weather observations such as the above rainfall totals are collected from a variety of sources with varying equipment and exposures.
