Here Are Napa County's 48-Hour Rainfall Totals

From Tuesday through Thursday, more than 6 inches of rain was recorded at one Napa County location and more than 4 inches at multiple sites.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — The numbers are in and they don't seem to lie. According to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area's 48-hour rainfall totals from the latest winter storm to move through the region, Capell Creek at Lake Berryessa got the most precipitation in Napa County, with more than 6 inches recorded.

Elsewhere in the county, more than 5 inches of rainfall was measured in Angwin and on Atlas Peak Road, while more than 4 inches of rain was recorded at multiple locations.

Here is how much rain fell at various Napa County locations from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15-17 as published by the National Weather Service:

According to the NWS, weather observations such as the above rainfall totals are collected from a variety of sources with varying equipment and exposures.
