Stuff The Bus At Walmarts In Napa, American Canyon
The Salvation Army and Walmart partner to "Stuff the Bus" for local children in need. Here are the back-to-school supplies they need most.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — As students return to in-person learning this fall after more than a year out of the classroom amid the coronavirus pandemic, The Salvation Army and Walmart want to make sure local children have the supplies they need to feel confident and be successful this school year.
For the third year in a row, The Salvation Army is holding school supply collection drives at more than 4,500 Walmart locations across the country. In the North and East Bays, there are 12 Walmart stores participating.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug.6-8, shoppers can leave new, donated school supplies inside the stores. The most needed supplies are colored pencils, three-ring binders, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, safety scissors, No. 2 pencils, flash cards, rulers, and pencil sharpeners.

Donors can also shop online at TSAStuffTheBus.org and have supplies delivered to The Salvation Army location of their choice, according to Samantha Jarosz, spokesperson for The Salvation Army in the North Bay.
"Walmart and The Salvation Army have collaborated for more than 30 years with a common goal: meet the need in their local communities," Jarosz said. "Supporters like Walmart help The Salvation Army serve more than 23 million Americans each year through a range of social services to help them overcome poverty and economic hardships."
