Holiday Ice Rink To Open Soon In Napa Valley

NAPA VALLEY, CA — A winter wonderland is coming to Napa Valley as part of Merry Meritage, the Meritage Resort & Spa's series of fun-filled, family-friendly activities this holiday season.

The festivities kick off Friday, Nov. 12, when Napa Valley's only holiday ice rink opens. The rink remains open throughout the holiday season until Jan. 2 on the expansive lawn at Meritage Resort's sister property, Vista Collina Resort, 850 Bordeaux Way in Napa.

In addition to skating, guests can purchase hot cocoa (or beer and wine for grownup guests!) from rinkside tasting rooms. To stay warm after a day on the ice, guests can reserve a fire pit area.

The Merry Meritage festivities grow brighter Friday, Nov. 26, when the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is held. RSVP here for the family-friendly event featuring Christmas carolers and photos with Santa Claus (participants are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots).

Families can return to visit Santa Claus for weekly reading times at 4:30 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 26-Dec. 19.

Guests are also invited to stop by the Merry Meritage Artisan Market to support local artisans and take a piece of Napa Valley home.
