IKEA Provides Furnishings For New Boys & Girls Club
Full furnishings for the new Napa Valley Vintners clubhouse in American Canyon come thanks entirely to a partnership with IKEA.

From Building AC: The NEW Napa Valley Vintners Clubhouse in American Canyon has been outfitted with professional assistance from IKEA designs. Full furnishings for the new Club come thanks entirely to a partnership with IKEA. The in-kind donation will include complete furnishings for most program areas throughout the facility, including couches, tables, chairs, storage containers, and wall mounted art pieces. The donations and design came from IKEA and will create a streamlined, cohesive look in a space. The best part – IKEA is taking care of the installation through their Assembly Service program.
“Our staff was ready to dig in and start building furniture,” said Jaime Gallegos, Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley American Canyon Area Director, “Then IKEA took their generosity a step further and agreed to assemble everything, which allows our staff to get the building ready for our first kids on Monday!”
Delivery was on May 30, with their Assembly services group busy putting together the finishing touches to ready the space for the first kids on Monday, June 18th. Limited space remains for the summer programs and those wishing to register can come in person to the Club located at 60 Benton Way weekdays between 8am-6pm. For information call 707-653-4552.

The 15,000 square foot Clubhouse is expected to serve 300 children each day and feature areas dedicated to early childhood education, teens, technology and general education. The Clubhouse will benefit not only American Canyon youngsters, but the entire community as it will have a kitchen and meeting space available to rent for public use.
The new facility in American Canyon was built on the existing Clubhouse site, which is ideally situated on Community Park II and strategically located near American Canyon Middle School, Donaldson Way Elementary School, and the Parks & Recreation Aquatic Center and Gym. The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) nonprofit trade association donated $2 million from Auction Napa Valley proceeds to seed the project.
