Join the Community for Earth Day Napa - April 25 in Downtown Napa!

Earth Day Napa 2015 | April 25, 2015 Hosted by the Environmental Education Coalition of Napa County (EECNC)

Napa, CA – Earth Day Napa 2015, hosted by the Environmental Education Coalition of Napa County (EECNC), will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in Downtown Napa and Veterans Memorial Park.

Festival attendees will find dozens of exhibitor booths featuring environmental products, services, games and giveaways. EarthDay Napa is a fun, educational event for the entire family, offering information on a host of environmental topics; alternative energy, recycling, watershed health, sustainable farming, pollution prevention, green products and more.

Earth Day Napa 2015 is free! Veterans Memorial Park stage will host an all-day lineup of entertainment for the whole family, including dancers and great local bands. The headliner for this year the Bay Area’s own, Afrofunk Experience. Free children’s activities will also be available throughout the day.

Attendees are encouraged to purchase tasty food, wine and beer offered by local vendors. Earth Day Napa beverage sales fund bus grants to enable local students visit sites such as Connolly Ranch, Bothe State Park and the Napa Recycling Center. Earth Day Napa proceeds are crucial in funding buses for environmental, educational field trips during the 2015-16 school year.

One beverage that will not be available for sale is bottled water. However, attendees can fill up their own reusable bottle or grab a souvenir bottle at the “Water Bar” filling station, sponsored by the Napa County Resource Conservation District and the City of Napa Water Division.

Earth Day Napa strives to be a Zero Waste Event and to minimize transportation impacts. Free valet bike parking will be provided by the Napa County Bicycle Coalition, and free VINE Transit rides on the “Earth Bus.”

With the theme of “Take Action!” – Earth Day Napa offers an additional opportunity to take an active role in preserving our environment. Preceding the Earth Day Napa Festival, the 10th Annual Earth Day Cleanup will have sites in need of volunteers from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Visit naparcd.org for more details.

Earth Day Napa is an event for every member of the family to enjoy, except one. Please, no pets. In order to offer food, the City of Napa requires that animals not be allowed at the event.
