Kaiser Permanente Partners with Napa Church for Community Health Fair

Kaiser Permanente is partnering with St. John the Baptist Church in Napa to provide valuable health education to members of the community.

The initiative, called Care Beyond Our Walls, is designed to address specific health care concerns in the Latino community. The event is open to the public.

Activities include:

• Blood pressure and body mass index screenings for everyone.
• “Ask a Doctor” and “Ask a Dietician” booths.
• Games and our popular Teddy Bear Clinic will help guide kids through what it is like to visit the doctor.
• “Preventing and Managing Diabetes” health talk at 9:30 a.m.
• Kaiser Permanente members can also schedule doctor’s appointments, receive exams and vaccinations in our state-of-the-art Mobile Health Vehicle which will be on site.
