Kayakers Rescued At Putah Creek
A man and woman in their 20s were rescued after their kayak capsized in Putah Creek below the Lake Berryessa Dam.
NAPA COUNTY, CA -- A man and woman in their 20s were rescued after their kayak capsized in Putah Creek below the Lake Berryessa Dam in Napa County on Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pair were kayaking below the dam around noon when they capsized and became separated. Emergency responders found them in the center of the creek, with the man standing on a rock in the middle of the creek and the woman further upstream.
A CHP helicopter hoisted the man to safety, while emergency responders from Solano and Yolo counties rescued the woman.

Neither of the victims were treated for injuries.
