A STORY

A little screech owl is waiting in the oak savanna by lake Berryessa. Waiting for some kids to arrive and tell the story of "Fire Spirits" with their exuberant style. The little owl loves the nightly campfires, and the crumbs that might draw out a little critter for the owl's dinner, after kids have gone to sleep in their snug tent cabins.

The song of the lake is calling to the children. It's a soft song that kids will remember, and it will lull them to a peaceful place for years to come. The waters will be warmed by the sun, and perfect for swimming and kayaking in that magical week: JUNE 24 to JUNE 29th.

The kids will always remember the short play they performed -a mythical and informative tale of FIRE. They will remember the survival skills session, and how one would survive alone in the woods.
