Kincade Fire Evac Advisory Still Stands For Calistoga In Napa Co.
The advisory for Calistoga and surrounding area is "the only evacuation advisory in Napa County at this time." No updates until the morning.
CALISTOGA, CA — A Kincade Fire evacuation advisory remained in effect Sunday evening for residents of Calistoga and the surrounding area, authorities said. The Kincade Fire, which broke out Wednesday northeast of Geyserville in northern Sonoma County, prompting evacuations of 180,000 people, was 54,298 acres and 5-percent contained as of Sunday evening, according to Cal Fire.
As of 7 p.m. Sunday, the Kincade Fire had destroyed 94 homes and other structures and damaged 17 structures, according to Cal Fire. The agency said two firefighters were burned in the blaze that was still threatening 79,975 homes and other structures. One firefighter was flown by helicopter to a burn center while the other was being treated at a local hospital.
The fire Sunday evening was approaching the town of Windsor, officials said. There were no immediate reports Sunday of structure loss in Healdsburg. Both cities have been evacuated since Saturday, with National Guard troops assigned to the communities.

City of Calistoga officials said at 6:08 p.m. Sunday that Cal Fire's evacuation advisory remained in effect for residents and businesses of Calistoga and the surrounding area who are north of Diamond Mountain Road to Dunaweal Lane, east of the Sonoma County Line, south of Lake County Line and west of Pickett Road.
"This advisory includes Oat Hill Road and Livermore Road at the Napa and Lake County line," according to the Napa County Office of Emergency. "The California Highway Patrol has named this area 'Zone 21.'"

The evacuation advisory is a "precautionary notice to give the public time to prepare for a possible evacuation," county officials said. "If you have special needs or livestock that needs transporting, you may want to consider leaving now."
Napa County officials said the advisory for Calistoga and surrounding area was "the only evacuation advisory in Napa County at this time," and that any further updates on the fire situation were not expected until Monday morning.

An evacuation center has been set up at Napa Valley College at 2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway in Napa.
