Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch (JARR), a no-kill rescue organization in the Napa Valley dedicated to saving homeless companion and farm animals, is continuing to provide much needed support in Lake County.

This past Friday, in partnership with GreaterGood.org's RescueBank pet food distribution program and Lake County volunteers, JARR secured, delivered, and unloaded 10,700 pounds of cat and dog food.

This food, provided by RescueBank, will supply animals in need through September. GreaterGood.org is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization devoted to improving the health and well-being of people, pets, and the planet. GreaterGood has given over $30 million to charity partners and programs worldwide that work toward their mission. One of their core areas of work is providing care and feeding of rescued animals in shelters and sanctuaries and addressing the root causes of their conditions.

“JARR is proud to partner with GreaterGood, a wonderful organization. Their help has assisted us with continuing our important work in Lake County,” said Monica Stevens, founder and managing director of Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch.

JARR Is also now actively providing no cost spay and neuter services to low income families to help alleviate the animal population that is contributing to the euthanasia rate in Lake County.
